Structural Integration (otherwise known as Rolfing) is a form of hands-on bodywork and movement training that re-organises the connective tissue of the body (fascia) so that it can function more effectively. Benefits of Rolfing include, improved posture, improved flexibility and range of movement, enhancing the ease of breathing, releasing painful holding patterns and managing acute and chronic pain from past injuries. What to wear? Most clients receive work in their underwear. You must be comfortable. Unlike massage, Rolfing requires you to get up from the table and walk around periodically. How is it different to massage? Through soft tissue manipulation and movement education, Rolfers affect body posture and structure over the long-term. Unlike massage, which often focuses on relaxation and relief of muscle discomfort, Rolfing is aimed at improving body alignment and functioning. Can Rolfing cause damage? There's virtually no risk to trying Rolfing, and there are no side effects. If it works, then great. But if it doesn't, there is no harm done. All treatments are held in a private space on Pound Road, Kingswood, BS15 4QT. Please do reach out if this location is not convenient for you, we are happy to chat alternative arrangements (this may incur an additional charge).
All payments and deposits are non-refundable. We ask for a minimum of 48 hours notice of cancellation so that the appointment may be offered to another client or moved to another available date. If bookings are cancelled within 24 hours cancellation a 50% fee will be applied. There may be mitigating circumstances that this may not apply to at Aim2Be's discretion. All Yoga based payments are final. In the case of physical events being cancelled (due to governmental policies), an online alternative will be provided. All Reiki / Structural Integration Sessions are inclusive of consultation times. Some sessions may be slightly shorter or longer depending on the intention of the sessions and what arises. The price remains the same unless the client decides they would like to extend. To which case payment will be taken then. Clients under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian who will give their written consent prior to treatment. The client agrees to participate in this session of their own free will and release or waive any claims against the practitioner or Aim2Be that may result from these sessions.
